Este viernes a partir de las 22.30hs en el Fortín del Azul de la localidad vecina, el grupo local Musa Rea actuará en el marco de la tercera edición del Festival Cervantino Soy Quixote. La banda, que compartirá escenario con De un Sur y Fulanas Trío, tocará temas de su disco debut, próximo a salir a la venta, y algunas composiciones nuevas.
Musa Rea mixtura canciones de raíz folklórica con sonoridades propias de otros géneros musicales, convirtiendo al grupo en uno de los más interesantes y complejos experimentos de la escena actual. En su repertorio, además de temas propios, se pueden escuchar a compositores como Atahualpa Yupanqui, Chico Buarque y "Cuchi" Leguizamón.
Integrada por Ignacio Hurban (piano, acordeón y composición), Juan Bautista González (guitarra, voz y composición), Erica Labelle (guitarra y voz), Matías Cortondo (bajo) y Agustín Ramos (batería y percusión), Musa Rea se conformó en 2002, y ha sido galardonada en diversas oportunidades por sus composiciones originales. En 2008, luego de compartir escenario en el Teatro Municipal de Olavarría con Liliana Herrero, comenzaron a grabar su primer disco –en el que Herrero puso su inigualable voz en un tema de Hurban- tarea a la que estuvieron abocados durante este año y que finalmente será editado con apoyo de la Subsecretaría de Cultura local.
Por su parte, Fulanas Trío –que se presentará este sábado en Habemus Bar- finaliza un año intenso que incluyó giras por Chile, Colombia y varias provincias argentinas. Su repertorio se gira en torno a los temas ancestrales y la música criolla, junto a la música negra viva en toda América Latina, confluyendo en un rico mestizaje musical. Está integrado por Silvia Cañoni (guitarra, percusión, armónica, melódica y voz), Cecilia Picaroni (guitarra, charango, percusión y voz), y Vilma Wagner (piano, teclado, percusión y voz).
